Timun Mas

Nadira is sixth grade. She enjoys writing and reading. During this class actiity the teacher give her the extract of Timun Mas story; when the giant asked Mak Dadap to eat Timun Mas. But Nadira read this story before, she retold the entire story and she decided to make a comic style rather than making a picture as an illustration.

Teacher in the class can explain about the activity that the children should do. But don't limit the students creativity. Let the students do what they like as long as they don't go too far from original activity context..

The Young Man and The Chickens

Kalista is 2nd grade, she likes drawing. She wrote this story after she read the original story in Bahasa Indonesia. Before she wrote it, she retold the story and the teacher ask her to write it and draw the illustration.

Teaching English should be as active as possible. Kids always enjoy drawing, singing, and watching film. We use many methods to make them enjoy learning English.

Making children enjoy the class is the first step for successful teaching. Because as we always believe teaching is friendship. Only by making friends with the students the teacher can really start her/his class.
